Berks Youth Anti-Violence Coalition
The Berks Youth Anti-Violence Coalition is a collaborative working group comprised of community organizations, community leaders and government-sponsored agencies that exists to eradicate violence in Berks County. Our intent is to reduce the duplication of services, address gaps in services to youth, and help create a community in which all youth can live, flourish and develop to their full potential without fear of violence.
The Coalition does this by:
Sharing space, information, training, and evidence-based practices.
Developing new community-specific intervention and prevention strategies.
Coordinating and supporting efforts between coalition participants.
